Yours for goodNo deadlines, no renewals
  • You don’t lack talent, you lack a sequence. Each course hands you one: the same three layers, in the same order, every time.

  • Everything is taught from the ground up, from holding the brush to mixing your first colours. Nothing is assumed.

  • You can start tonight. The drawing comes to you as a template, so your first evening is spent painting rather than measuring.

Your teacher

Hello, I am Vlada.

“I made a lot of muddy canvases before I understood that painting is a sequence. These courses are that sequence, the one I wish someone had handed me.”

I am self-taught: I started in 2018, kept going, and have now been teaching for five years. My approach is patient and practical. No jargon, no pressure to be perfect. Just clear steps, honest feedback, and the quiet confidence that comes from finishing something with your own hands.

Painting since 2018

8 years

Eight years of paint,
five of teaching.

I started late, at a kitchen table, with the wrong brushes and far too many colours. For the first two years almost everything I made went grey — and then one evening a painting did not, and I understood why. What changed was not talent. It was order: sketch, underpainting, oil, in that sequence, every time.

Since then I have painted between London and Valencia, been written about in Forbes, and shown work in Cannes and at Paris Fashion Week. For the last five years I have been teaching the same sequence to people who were sure they could not paint.

For collectors

Would you rather own one?

Not everyone wants to paint it themselves. The originals and the prints live on my main site, and commissions start with an email.

Questions

Good to know.

Before you start

Do I need any experience?
None at all. The courses are built for complete beginners and start from the very first brushstroke. If you have painted before, you can simply move faster.
What materials do I need?
A short, affordable starter list comes with the course as a printable PDF: the exact colours, brush sizes and surfaces. You will need oil paints, a tear-off palette, linseed oil and a standard solvent, plus watercolour pencils and a little acrylic for the first two layers. Nothing expensive.
How much time does it take?
It is fully self-paced. Most students spend a few quiet evenings a week and finish a painting in two to three weeks. There is no deadline and no pressure.
Which painting should I choose first?
Lavender Paradise if you want the gentler start: wide strokes, soft colour, very forgiving. Meet Me by the Sea if you love clean whites and one bold accent. If you cannot choose, the Mediterranean Collection is both for £49.

Lessons and access

How long do I have access?
For good. There are no deadlines and nothing to renew. You pay once and the lessons stay open to you, so you can paint the same canvas again in a year if you want to.
How do I get in after I pay?
The moment your payment goes through you land in the studio, already signed in. You also get an email with your own link in. Lost it? Open My courses, type your email and a fresh link arrives.
Can I watch on my phone?
Yes. Everything works on a phone, a tablet or a laptop, and the player remembers which lesson you were on.

Feedback and payment

What does personal feedback include?
You send me a photo of your painting, at any stage or when it is finished, and I write back with notes: what is already working, and the one change that would lift it most. Add it when you buy, or ask for it later from inside the course.
How do I pay?
Through Stripe: all major cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. It is a one-time payment, in pounds. Your card details never reach me.
What if it is not for me?
Reach out within 48 hours and I will make it right. I want you painting, not stuck. Write to team@artbyvaynberg.com, or simply reply to any email from me.

Still wondering about something? Write to team@artbyvaynberg.com or send me a message on Instagram — both reach me, not an assistant.
